About Me

There are so many "consultants" in our world. Basically anyone can build a website and call themselves a consultant, am I right? They've got an MEd, maybe a MS, often a PhD... uh oh. That sounds like me! 

BUT, here's the thing that sets me apart: experience. 

• Do you want a guru who has been sitting in an ashram meditating for years, or one who has been out with the people, learning about what works for them? 
• Do you want an Uber driver who has driven a single route 1,000 times, or one who has been all over the county and knows how to get you out of a traffic jam? 
• Do you want a chef who has learned to cook the absolute best lasagna in the world, but cannot cook spaghetti and meatballs? 

No, the best consultants are the ones who have been to many places, cooked a lot of dishes, driven many roads. The more experience, the more knowledge! 

I've worked with hundreds of companies around the globe - from Black and Decker, Toyota and Whirlpool to the United Nations, Curves, Iron Mountain, and many many more (some you've heard of, some you haven't.) I've gained knowledge and experience across all different types of companies (with different operating models) and across all different industries while helping them find the best strategies for learning and development for their needs. 

I've worked with companies to design and develop online learning, consulted with them on best practices for learning organizations and advised on moving into a culture of continuous learning. I've designed models for creating and delivering learning for some companies, helped define learning cultures in others, and designed, developed and delivered curricula on anything from new hire sales training to off-label pharmaceutical rules to how a steam-roller works (It's pretty cool, actually).
